RESOURCE ALLOCATION

Resource-Allocation

RESOURCE: time, money, people that you have to build your organization.

Resource allocation: investing your resources that you have in the present to accomplish your goals and purposes in the future. Resource allocation involves balancing competing priorities.

Investing = to devote expecting an exponential return.

Most leaders want to use people to get desired results, but best leaders INVEST in people  helping them get better, and eventually the whole organization gets better.

Most leaders spend their time doing tasks, best leaders intentionally INVEST their time to achieve desired result.

HOW TO INVEST OUR RESOURCES TO GET THE BEST RESULT?

#1. CLARIFY THE WIN

CLEARLY defining the WIN impacts what you do daily, it directs our actions.

The win helps directs where we put our resources.

Example: to open 5 new churches in 5 different states that self sustaining in the next 6 months.

#2. Take inventory of  all you have to work with.

Don’t limit your inventory to what is obvious.

#3. Intentionally invest your resources in the direction of the desired result.

What current program, project, initiative or leader has the highest potential return on investment?
